Religious Education for Children

The Religious Education program at Our Lady of Peace Parish is designed to give young people the opportunity to encounter Christ in their lives through instruction, prayer, service, and participation in the Liturgy. The instructional curriculum we use for 1st through 8th grade is the Faith & Life Book Series. The book series incorporates Scripture, Church Tradition, Prayer, and Sacred Art in every lesson. This combination will guide students to become disciples of Christ.

Our Lady of Peace Church serves a diverse community. As such, we respect and celebrate one another’s similarities and differences. The most important similarity is our love and respect for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Registration Fee

*Religious Education Registration opens Monday, April 15.

Registration Fee (non-refundable) is due at the time of registration.

Cost before June 28
$100 for 1st & 2nd child
$50 for 3rd & 4th child

Cost after June 28
$120 for 1st & 2nd child
$70 for 3rd & 4th child

Class Sessions

Classes are held weekly from September through May on Wednesdays at The Our Lady of Peace Parish Center:

• Grades 1-5 meets from 4:30-5:45pm
• Grades 6-8 & Individual Instruction (II) meets from 7:00-8:15pm

At Our Lady of Peace Parish, religious education is a family affair. OLP reinforces the importance of Faith and Family, with a monthly Religious Education Family MASS on the first Sunday of every month.
