If you are registered as a member of Our Lady of Peace Church under your parents' names, have married and continue to live in the area, and wish to continue as a member of Our Lady of Peace Church, you must separately re-register as husband and wife.
If you are moving out of the area and elect to become a member of another parish, please inform our Parish Office so that our records may be kept up-to-date.
To enable us to better serve you, all parishioners should register at the Rectory Office. If you are a new parishioner, or a current parishioner who has moved or changed phone numbers, please contact the Rectory Office.
Family members 23 years or older should register separately as individuals even if continuing to live with their parents.
You must be a registered parishioner to be a Confirmation Sponsor or a Godparent.
New residents of the community are most welcome to register as parishioners. We invite you to register at the rectory. We also ask that any changes of address, email or telephone be submitted to the parish office promply.
CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN ON THE NEW LIFT BY THE SCHOOL
SIDE OF THE CHURCH.
THAT ENTRANCE TO THE CHURCH WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED.
THE FORD AVENUE ENTRANCE MAY BE CONVENIENT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
There are openings in the choir in all voice parts for choral singers.
Prospective singers should have good sight reading skills, and a pleasant agile voice. The commitment of time and focused energy is important, particularly at Christmas and during Holy Week. If you have the desire to serve our OLP community in this very special way, please contact the Parish Office. The first choir practice will begin on Wednesday,
September 5th, 2018 at 715 PM~9:00 PM
Please do not leave the Church before the Celebrant (priest). The Mass ends officially when the priest leaves the Church. Even then, it is usually advised you sit or kneel in silent prayer of thanksgiving or simply gaze at Jesus in the Tabernacle,
smile at Him and just
God Loves you!
The 2019 Mass book will be open on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th at 9:30 AM to reserve Mass Intentions during 2019. Given the volume of requests we have at Our Lady of Peace, Mass intention requests are honored on a first-come, first-served basis. We regret that we may be unable to accommodate the number of intentions you might desire.
Due to the volume and fairness to all parishioners, we can accept only one Mass intention request for the same person/intention. We will limit each individual to only 5 weekend Masses, 3 can be at the same Mass time. If you require additional weekend Masses, please come into the rectory after December 1rst.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Mass intentions may be requested in person in the Rectory Office during regular weekday office hours (Monday through Friday, 9am-4:30pm).
The customary offering is $10 per Mass intention.
